I laughed out loud when I read “we’re gonna die and see God.” Did you ever read the book Catherine Called Birdie? It was about a girl who lived in the Middle Ages and was always praying for better eyesight. Whenever I get grumpy about I think at least I’m not a peasant in the middle ages with 20/500 vision!

I’m so sorry to hear about your IC pain (I read your newest post) but I love hearing that you’re a hockey fan! I wasn’t one at all until I got married and moved to Pittsburgh, and we seriously watch three hockey games a week, at least. I’m happy that we don’t have too many other shows to watch during the winter, haha.

I hate contact lenses too – well, I like them in that they’re not glasses, but I hate the whole process of owning them and cleaning them and all that jazz. Right now I could be totally all super Christian about it and say that my having bad eyesight is a good reminder of how we’re all eventually going to die and see God or whatever, but right now it just kinda sucks, haha.
