I adore these:
However, since I am on a low-acid, no chocolate diet, they will not be part of my spring this year. Even though Cadbury doesn’t have a high enough chocolate content to be considered chocolate by the EU.
Does anyone have any non-chocolate, non-fruit based candy they adore and would recommend?
Anyone on a special diet and have had to find new favorite foods?

Reeses makes a white chocolate peanut butter cup
Kit Kat white chocolate candy bar
Lindt Lindor white chocolate truffles
You can order all on Amazon…I haven’t tried any of them but they get good reviews by those who can’t have chocolate. Maybe the Easter Bunny will put some in your basket this year!
You can always turn to the candies that are pure sugar – marshmallow peeps, any mint hard candy. Caramel/butterscotch things might fall into that category too.
I love any recommendation that tells me to turn to pure sugar! I’ve had maple candies and caramel before and those are good.
i was going to suggest caramel.
(i can forgo chocolate but caramel is my weakness.)
Bequet Caramels in Bozeman … rock my world.
And let’s not forget pure honey … mmmm.
Those were the favors at our rehearsal dinner for our wedding. I had never had them before. SO GOOD.
And we have some of your honey now! So good.
So glad you have some! And wish I had thought of Bequet as favors … though I might be toothless had the thought crossed my mind …
Indiana Brand – sweet kettle corn….the best…!!!! no chocolate, no fruit, very lightly sweet…! YUM
